The 2nd of June 2009, at approximately 8 am, Franck goes into operation for a liver transplant that he had been waiting to receive for a few years. His Hepatitis C went into full effect a couple years back when the disease caught up with him and took his health... and his liver. Not knowing where exactly how he acquired the strand, the doctors believe it was a result from his dolphin tattoo on his right shoulder he got some 20 years ago.

I have been documenting Franck for over two years now and will continue photographing him and his new life.
